Lubrication plan

A schedule for relubricating straightening rolls with lubrication points and WICAS cassette systems — daily at high speeds and loads, weekly at low speeds and loads — using special and long-life greases.

Straightening rolls with lubrication points and WICAS cassette systems are designed for use at high speeds. To guarantee a long useful life they must be relubricated at regular intervals according to the specific ambient and operating conditions. We suggest:

  1. daily lubrication when working at high speeds and under high loads
  2. weekly lubrication when working at low speeds and under low loads

We recommend the use of special grease and long-life grease.
