Guide rolls

Cylindrical rolls with rolling bearings that guide and support endless material — withstanding high loads and speeds while the material runs tangentially along them without additional plastic deformation.

Guide rolls are cylindrical rolls with rolling bearings designed to perform guiding and supporting functions in the processing of endless materials. They can withstand high loads and are insensitive to high speeds. Their carrier materials consist of hardened UHB-ARNE, PETP plastics, rubber or other special materials to order. Materials can be selected for ideal coordination of the rolls with the material to be guided, e.g. corrosion-protected versions for wet areas. Diameter tolerances are defined by ISO f7, f9 or h9.

Guide rolls designed mainly for supporting, guiding and bearing functions do not deflect. The endless material runs tangentially along the rolls and should not suffer any additional plastic deformation.
