- Cromax hard chromium plated steel rolls for improved corrosion resistance and use with hard or abrasive materials. With a minimum chromium layer thickness of 20µm for extended life.
How to choose a model
A few checks narrow the CA SH models below to the ones worth quoting.
- Reading the dimensions
- The Dimensions column lists the size range, meaning the diameter or thickness of the material, that each model is specified for. For example, CA 40 SH covers 1.0–20.0 mm (0.039–0.787 in).
- Match the size
- Pick the model whose range contains the diameter or thickness of your material. The CA SH series spans 1–55 mm (0.039–2.17 in) in total. If your size sits on the boundary between two models, ask us which suits your material better.
Tolerance and line speed also affect the right choice. Send your material, size, tolerance and line speed with your quote request and we will confirm the model with Witels-Albert.
