A few checks narrow the BR models below to the ones worth quoting.
- Reading the dimensions
- The Dimensions column lists the size range, meaning the diameter or thickness of the material, that each model is specified for. For example, BR 5-100.0 covers 0.5–1.0 mm (0.02–0.039 in).
- Match the material
- Every BR model is listed for strip, so material does not separate models within this series. Use size and roll count to narrow the choice.
- Match the size
- Pick the model whose range contains the diameter or thickness of your material. The BR series spans 0.5–3 mm (0.02–0.118 in) in total. If your size sits on the boundary between two models, ask us which suits your material better.
- Choose the roll count
- BR is offered with 5 and 7 rolls. More rolls put the material through more bending cycles and generally straighten harder or springier material more thoroughly. Fewer rolls give a simpler setup.
Tolerance and line speed also affect the right choice. Send your material, size, tolerance and line speed with your quote request and we will confirm the model with Witels-Albert.
